If you would like, your maps can
be...
Laminated, which protects the
surface and makes them durable, mark-able and erasable. A Gloss or
non-glare matte lamination is available
Dry-mounting bonds the map onto
5/16" foam board, a rigid but lightweight
material that allows for use of flag pins & map
tacks. If the map is to be frequently moved or is not to be
framed, "gatorboard" is suggested for less
warp. Gatorboard is approximately 25% additional cost over foam core
type board, based on size / square footage.
Custom Framed in standard *wood or
metal moldings. (See the following chart.) Many finer
woods, colored metals, and wider or heavier moldings are
available at very competitive prices.

Metals in Anodic Black, Matte Black, Gold, or Silver 3/4" frame molding
on smaller and medium sized maps, **larger maps must be framed in wider
heavier profiles - many other colors and finishes are available at slight
additional cost.
Woods standard classic reverse shape moulding in Medium or Dark Walnut, Cherry/Mahogany, Black with gold edge and Rustic
Driftwood.
Contemporary smooth flat profile in Medium Oak or Mahogany with black edge.
**Standard is 1.5" wide for wood frame molding - larger maps may require 2" or wider
Due to their size,
and necessary usability, we laminate framed maps rather than matting
them under heavy glass.
Matte non-glare finish laminate is standard. Dry-erase/wipe-off laminate is only
available in gloss.

framed wall maps are oversize shipments and larger sized maps may have to be crated and shipped by motor freight.
