we have created several different regions of the USA based on listening
to our customers' requests over the years and what areas are most
popular...such as the Southeast, Great Lakes, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic,
West Coast, etc.
If your region requires a different configuration of states we can
easily create it for you. Just email us at mapwench@gmail.com
your specs/area to cover, and approximate size you would like, you
will receive a proof of your map before it prints, and we can even print
your logo on it too!
The logo at the top of our pages will always take
you to the main home page. There are categories down the left side of each page and also a
search at the top. Keep in mind that the search page is a little over-zealous at times,
and be as specific as possible.
Be sure to scroll down on the pages - there are lots of maps to choose
from and we tried to keep them in their respective groups, so some pages
are quite long.
Almost all of the maps listed have a link - either click on the picture
of the map OR the name of the map - underlined links in blue - and go to a
detail page for that map. The online ordering "add to order"
button is either on the detail page for that map or in a dropdown menu
of choices at the bottom of the particular map details page.
One reason is a secure server - (SSL) running in secure socket layer
does not allow some of the processes that speed up load time, depending
upon your browser settings and connection, the server will only will respond at their
standard speed and mode, for security reasons. The "view
order" will not operate until the order is uploaded completely to
this separate e-commerce part of our site, and if your order does not
appear on "view order" page, simply click on "view
order" again and wait a moment for it to catch up.
If you have cookies disabled in your internet preferences, this may also
cause it to operate more slowly. We appreciate your patience.
If you ever have problems ordering or questions about our maps,
please don't hesitate to call us at 888-344-3770 and you can leave a
message or email us if it is after hours. 10:00-6:00 EST mapwench@gmail.com
Custom areas for 5-digit ZIP code maps are most easily defined by a
mileage radius from a center point, but you can also fax a mock up of
the area you need to 678-213-1136 and we can figure that out for you.
Also by county or a group of counties, or of course by state.
Up to 25 miles can include detailed streets, 50 miles out can show major
streets and up to 100 miles (that's 200 miles across) can show highways.
All these maps come laminated and show the cities and towns, highways,
and counties - either in contrasting colors or black and white with red
zips. Sizes range from 36x48", 48x64" or 72x96" depending
amount of upon area covered and level of detail required on the map.
Other levels of information available custom order are population
density or median household income by zip, or census tracts.
Sure! Just fax your purchase order or quote request with the
description (you can even cut and paste the text from our site) and all
shipping and billing information to 678-213-1136 shipping charges are
added to your order, and you can be advised of the exact total if
necessary.
Be sure to include contact information in case we need to get in touch
with you about your order. Some standard credit info may also be
required to open an account so if you already have a profile - send that
along too.
Faxing an order is always quite secure since your faxed pages are received in
our CEOs office where our lovely Vice President of security is almost
always nearby... www.amaps.com/aboutus.htm
We try to process in stock orders within 24-48 hours (except on
weekends of course) If a map you order is out of stock and will not be
shipped within a couple days you will notified of the expected delivery
date. You will be notified right away of a backorder if you have
requested expedited next day or second day air shipping. We are
located in Atlanta, GA so ground shipping can take from 1 day (in
North Georgia and surrounding areas) to 8 days (west coast)
Any maps that have to be printed and laminated require a few extra days
processing time of course, these include custom maps, logo additions and
the USA sales region maps.
International shipments are sent by airmail (unless otherwise requested,
we can send using your **International UPS or Fedex account if your
prefer, but they are often quite pricey) and it can be up to a
week before the customs documentation and packages can be taken to the
post office, after which there is often no way of tracing the shipment
or confirming delivery. Then delivery is quoted by USPS to take anywhere
from 4-20 days to arrive, although in some countries the mail seems to
take much longer.
Our new division mapstoprint.com is a online
source for beautifully detailed map images that you can purchase for
download. These maps can be inserted into a presentation program,
uploaded to your own web site, or printed in a brochure or report. Feel
free to compare the prices and quality to any others available online.
There are several styles of each area - including all USA states,
Regions of US, USA and World maps, Continents and some USA Metro areas -
over 400 maps available and we are adding more all the time. If there is
an area you need that is not listed just email us and we will check into
making it available for you. There are more details about the electronic
map files here... Please read the
